Tilak Varma is one of the most talented young cricketers going around in India's cricketing circle and has finally made his T20I debut against the Windies. He is known for his brilliant batting skills and excellent temperament but in his debut game he has shown his superb catching skills as well.

In the first innings of the game, Tilak Varma pulled off a spectacular catch of Johnson Charles to announce his arrival on the big stage. It was the 8th over of the game and Kuldeep Yadav tossed it up on off. Johnson Charles went for a big slog-sweep and got a huge top edge. The ball went high in the air towards left of deep mid-wicket. However, Varma stationed at deep mid-wicket ran almost 10 metres and dived full-length to take a spectacular catch, his first at the international level.

Tilak Varma took another good catch of Pooran later in the innings and India have restricted West Indies to 149-6 at the end of 20 overs.
