India are locking horns with England in the final and the fifth Test of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at the Kennington Oval in London. The toss was delayed initially due to rain this morning and a wet field. However, it was held a few minutes later, with England winning and choosing to bowl first.

Explaining the decision, England’s stand-in captain Ollie Pope said,

"We are going to bowl first. There is a good covering of the grass. Also, with the weather around, no-brainer to bowl first on this pitch. The guys are good. Lost a few men. The captain, he's done. We have some new faces and all are tracking well."

On the other side, India’s Shubman Gill didn’t seem too bothered about losing the toss. He said,

"As long as we are winning the match, I don't mind losing the toss. Actually, I was a bit confused yesterday. It's a bit overcast. So, now we need to post a really good total in the first innings. Our bowlers are very much ready. It looks like a very good wicket for the bowlers so expecting everyone to chip in. "

Talking about the changes, India have made three notable changes to their playing XI: Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, and Anshul Kamboj are out, with Dhruv Jurel, Prasidh Krishna, and Karun Nair coming into the side.

England, on the other hand, had already announced their playing XI, making four changes. Jacob Bethell, Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton, and Josh Tongue come in to replace Ben Stokes, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, and Liam Dawson.

The weather in London isn't looking good today, as there’s a Yellow Weather Warning in effect. Rain is expected to keep stopping the game, with more than a 50% chance of interruptions.
