He showed his class straightaway and picked two wickets while giving away just 16 runs in his 4 overs against Kanpur Superstars. His efforts made sure that his team start off the season with a win and it seems that Bhuvi is up on a mission to make another comeback into the Indian side.

Talking about the ball, it was a typical Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivery that pitches just short of good length and nips back in sharply to knock over the off pole. The batter Sameer Rizvi who was batting well on 41 off 21 balls till then, just could not tackle the quality of Bhuvi and got cleaned up, shattering hopes of Kanpur Superstars.

Bhuvi soon got another wicket at the death and if Bhuvneshwar Kumar can continue his good form, he might well make comeback into the Indian side with T20 World Cup set to be held in the month of June in 2024.
