The venue, which has witnessed three Women's international matches, will thus host its first-ever men's One-Day International. 

Led by Shubman Gill, India will be eyeing to sustain their dream run in ODIs following an emphatic victory over South Africa at home. While Shubman Gill's return following an injury setback has strengthened the Men in Blue, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul are expected to spearhead their batting department. 

Talking about India's bowling, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj will lead the pack with Harshit Rana, who has been impressive with his wicket-taking ability in ODIs. Overall, India have a formidable team on paper and will start as the firm favourites despite missing ace allrounder Hardik Pandya.
