India and Australia are all set to play against each other in the fifth and final Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. This match will be played at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney and it will start from 3rd January, 2025 at 5:00 AM IST and 10:30 AM Local Time.

The series stands at a cliff hanger with both the teams needing a win to claim the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Besides the silverware a place in the final of the WTC is also on the line and hence a close fight between the two teams is expected.

Australia need just one win to book a berth in the WTC final. On the other hand, India need to win the SCG Test and then wait for the results of the last two matches in the cycle for Australia. If the home team for this Test match fail to win a single game of their remaining three matches then India will be playing the final of the WTC against South Africa.

As the two teams prepare to take on each other in this exciting clash, let us look at the session timings of the game for the first day of the match.
