Two major developments have taken place ahead of the second ODI between India and Australia. Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah hasn't travelled with the Indian team for personal reasons and has been granted a short break by the team management.
Moreover, Pat Cummins, the Australian skipper has also been given a rest, and Steve Smith has taken charge of the team.
Toss Updates
Australia won the toss and on a flat track, they have elected. to bowl first. At the toss time, Smith stated that the wicket looks flat, the weather is good and as a result, they will fancy a chase against the Indian bowling attack.
Australia have made quite a few changes to their playing XI. There is no Pat Cummins in the playing XI, but Josh Hazlewood makes a return. Moreover, after getting a rest in the first ODI, Alex Carey is also back in the side. Spencer Johnson, the debutant also gets a chance to showcase his talent.
Talking about India, with Bumrah out of the side, the team management have gone with Prasidh Krishna as his replacement.
India lead the series 1-0, and will be eager to seal the series with a win here in Indore.
