After two resounding wins against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Team India will battle it out against Bangladesh in their final Super 4 match at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday.

The Rohit Sharma led side have already reached the finals, and this contest will be a curtain raiser for the things to come on Sunday. Meanwhile, Bangladesh, who have crashed out of the tournament will look to end the tournament on a high.

IND-BAN: Team Previews

India

Team India had plenty of problems heading into the Asia Cup, but after three back-to-back wins, most of the problems have been dissolved. The team showed their mettle against Sri Lanka, defending a low score, and will be riding high on confidence heading into this battle.

The batters have fired all guns blazing, and with KL Rahul back amongst the runs, things have started getting better for the Men in Blue. With a place in the finals secured, expect the team to make a number of changes, with senior players likely to sit out.

Shreyas Iyer, who suffered from a back spasm ahead of the Pakistan clash, is expected to get fit and is likely to get a game against Bangladesh. Expect SKY to get a game, with Ishan Kishan getting some rest ahead of the finals.

Nothing has gone right for the Tigers. A promising squad that hasn't lived up to the expectations. Barring a comfortable win against Afghanistan, Bangladesh have lost matches against Sri Lanka (twice) and once against Pakistan as they have already crashed out of the tournament.

Barring Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who shone brightly with the bat, nothing has gone right for the Tigers as the preparations for the World Cup 2023 have taken a big hit. Mushfiqur Rahman has flown back to Bangladesh for the birth of his second child and will miss the match against India.
