The much-awaited clash between India and Pakistan is in full swing. The match is underway at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, February 23. This match is crucial for both sides. While India is on the verge of securing a spot in the semi-finals, for Pakistan, it is a do-or-die clash, as a defeat could lead to their elimination.

Who Won The Toss Today

Talking about the toss, Pakistan have won the toss and opted to bat first against Rohit Sharma and his boys. Talking about the changes, India have stuck with the same playing XI from their previous match. On the other hand, Pakistan have made one change—Imam-ul-Haq replaces Fakhar Zaman, who misses out due to injury.

During the toss, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan revealed the decision behind the toss.

"We want to bat first. It looks like a good pitch. So, we want to bat first. It doesn't matter how the situation is, we want to post a good total on the board. The boys are familiar with these conditions. We have a good record here. That is past. We want to give our best today. We have just one change. Fakhar is out injured, Imam comes in."

Meanwhile, Indian captain Rohit Sharma appeared unfazed by the decision, saying:

"It doesn't really matter. We will bowl first. It's not the same surface but looks similar to the last match we played. It looks on the slower side. We have to play well. It did slow down. The guys are quite experienced. They know what to do. We know what to do as a team when the pitch slows down. We need an overall performance from the team with the bat and the ball."
