The excitement is building as India and Pakistan, two of cricket’s biggest rivals, are all set to face off in the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai Cricket Stadium on February 23. Before this highly anticipated clash, both teams were seen going through intense practice sessions.
A video that quickly went viral showed a UAE net bowler delivering a solid ball to Virat Kohli during practice. Impressed by the bowler’s performance, Kohli was seen applauding him and saying,
"Well bowled, bahut acchi bowling, bahut help kiya apne," which translates to, "Well bowled, great bowling, you really helped a lot."
Kohli’s Extra Effort in Practice Ahead Of Important Clash
Kohli, known for his dedication, arrived at the practice session a whole 3 hours early, alongside teammate Varun Chakaravarthy and India’s assistant coach Abhishek Nayar. The Indian batting superstar focused on various drills to sharpen his skills and regain top form.
After the session, Kohli was seen with an ice pack on his right knee, but sources suggest it’s just a precautionary measure and nothing serious.
India vs Pakistan: What's At Stack?
Well, this will be the second match for both the sides. India are currently in high-confidence after a thumping win against Bangladesh by 6 wickets. A victory here would not just boost morale but also make them seal their spot in the semi-finals.
On the other hand, Pakistan are in deep trouble, it's a must-win game for them after their heavy defeat against New Zealand. A loss would almost make them out of the tournament.
