The eighth game of the World Cup 2023 will be taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The Pakistan team are ready to lock horns with the champions of the World Cup 2023 Qualifiers, Sri Lanka.

The men in green had a thumping win by 81 runs over the Netherlands team in their first match of the World Cup 2023.

The top order of the Pakistan team failed, but the middle order stepped up and put up a decent total of 286 runs. Babar Azam and the company will be looking to continue the winning momentum and not repeat the mistakes that were made in the last game.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka, in their opening game, faced a massive defeat against the South African team. Due to a few injuries in the camp, the Sri Lankan team have not been able to play their best possible eleven, especially the bowlers.

They lost the last game by 102 runs as they were chasing a mammoth total of 428 runs. Dasun Shanaka and the company will look to rectify some things about their bowling and hope for their first win in the tournament.

However, before we get into the game, let’s take a look at the weather forecast for Hyderabad on Tuesday:
