On Wednesday, December 3, India and South Africa locked horns for the 2nd of the three-match ODI series at the Raipur Stadium. Temba Bavuma returned for South Africa, and in the do-or-die game, the toss went in his favour as the Proteas invited the Men in Blue to bat first.

Meanwhile, India, on the other side, have been unfortunate as they lost their 20th toss in a row. Notably, it is a rare once in a million event, and the probability of such events is nearly zero.

The internet is flooded with memes and trolls, as the last time India won a toss in ODIs was back in the 2023 ODI World Cup semi-finals, which was two years ago.

KL Rahul brings out his witty side during toss in 2nd ODI

The fans assumed that with KL Rahul stepping in as the captain, the luck would change, but nothing has changed so far. Further, Ravi Shastri, who oversaw the toss, couldn't resist bringing this topic up, and KL Rahul too took it sportingly.

Rahul addressed the issue and, in his witty demeanour, remarked that he was under immense pressure for the toss and also practised it.

"I think the biggest pressure today was the toss. We haven’t won one in a long time, so I’ve genuinely been practising flipping the coin, but clearly it’s still not working," remarked KL Rahul during the toss.

0.000000954% probability of India's recent toss woes
