Pakistan are right on top against the South African side as the home side has already lost 3 wickets inside the first 6 overs. Shaheen Afridi struck with the first scalp of Rassie van der Dussen, and the carnage began as the Proteas lost two more wickets.

Mohammad Rizwan introduced spin from the other end as mystery bowler, Abrar Ahmed proved to be a difficult challenge for the South African batters. He kept them on the ropes and in his first over, got the wicket of Matthew Breetzke.

How Abrar outfoxed Hendricks

However, it was his dismissal of Reeza Hendricks which caught everyone's attention. The mystery spinner had the perfect setup for his wicket as he noticed Hendricks' tendency to go back against the spinners without him reading the lines and lengths.

His first delivery of the 4th over was a googly and it was followed by two leg-break deliveries. After two leg-spin balls, Hendricks was anticipating a similar type of a delivery, however, Abrar used his skills and bowled a googly which came back in sharply and knocked the stumps as the batter missed the delivery completely.

South Africa playing their B side in 1st T20I

The South Africa Vs Sri Lanka Tests just got over on Monday, and the first T20I was scheduled for Tuesday, hence, for this clash, South Africa are going in with an inexperienced side.

A lot of the key players like Tristan Stubbs and Marco Jansen are missing in the side, but the team still has the firepower in the form of David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen, who are batting at the moment as they try and put up a fighting total.
