The Sunday happened to be just another day of Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir expressing his frustration over the India pacer Arshdeep Singh’s on-field errors. It all happened during the ongoing third T20I of the five-match series between India and South Africa.

The moment came when Shivam Dube was bowling the 13th over of the SA innings. The Proteas batter Donnovan Ferreira happened to play off the bottom of the bat, followed by Arshdeep Singh running in from long-on region and sliding onto his knees in an attempt to take it with both hands. But he eventually ended up dropping the catch, giving a lifeline to Ferreira

Subsequently, the India head coach Gautam Gambhir was caught on camera, expressing his frustration after another on-field error from Arshdeep for the second successive time in the ongoing T20I series.

However, Gambhir getting frustrated over Arshdeep Singh’s dropped catch in the third T20I is not the first instance of its kind in the current series. A similar kind of moment was also seen in the second T20I between India and South Africa

It happened when Gambhir was caught visibly furious and expressing his anger in an animated manner after Arshdeep Singh lost the line and length to end up bowling seven wides in an over. Eventually, it happened to be a 13-ball over by Arshdeep Singh. That ‘furious’ reaction from Gambhir also caught the eyeballs of the fans.

India push SA to walls in the third T20I

Speaking of the current action of the third T20I between India and South Africa, the Men in Blue are completely dominating the visitors. The Proteas have lost the seven wickets for the score of just 85 runs in 16.4 overs, with Anrich Nortje (4) and skipper Aiden Markram (42) there in the middle at the time of filing this.

Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy have claimed two wickets each for India in the first innings, alongside a wicket each picked by Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya, and Shivam Dube.

Apart from his dropped catch, Arshdeep Singh has been the most effective bowler for India in this game so far as he has conceded just nine runs in three overs, with an impressive economy rate of 3.00. Interestingly, he hasn’t given any extra run in no-ball and wide-ball in this game so far.
