South Africa turned up trumps against West Indies in the final ODI of the three-match series, winning the game by four wickets.

SA bowlers cut back WI's total

After opting to field first, the Proteas were pegged back and denied early control over the match as after Kyle Mayers' dismissal, Brandon King and Shamarh Brooks forged a 71-run stand in which only 18 runs came off the latter's bat.

King dominated the partnership, scoring a half-century in the process. However, after Brooks fell via a run-out, a flurry of wickets followed, including King's as the Windies faltered along the line.

Nicholas Pooran and Jason Holder recorded 30s but even as they failed to capitalise on the starts, the visitors were bowled out in the penultimate over of the innings on 260 runs.

As for South Africa, Marco Jansen, Bjorn Fortuin and Gerald Coetzee had a field day, taking two wickets apiece.

WI bow to Klaasen's 54-ball ton

The trio of Alzarri Joseph, Akeal Hosein and Kyle Mayers had put the hosts in a predicament as they were reduced to 87/4 in the run-chase of 261.

However, Heinrich Klaasen's partnerships with David Miller and Marco Jansen lifted them out of the misery, saving them the blushes of a shambolic defeat.

Klaasen slammed a 54-ball century, his second and also the fourth-fastest overall for South Africa in ODI cricket. He finished off the game with an unbeaten 119-run knock, leading his team to a four-wicket win.
