Ever since the T20 World Cup finale ended, Heinrich Klaasen's form has taken a massive dip as the Proteas skipper once again failed to deliver in the first T20I Vs Pakistan in Durban. Post the World Cup finale knock, he hasn't had a significant outing in the game's shortest format.

In the ongoing contest, South Africa were jolted with early wickets as Pakistan bowlers were on top of them. Shaheen Afridi started the carnage as he dismissed Rassie van der Dussen in the first over.

Abrar Ahmed, the mystery spinner, soon joined the party as he picked up back-to-back wickets of Matthew Breetzke and Reeza Hendricks to further sink the home side. However, the wicket of the innings was that of Heinrich Klaasen, scalped by Abbas Afridi.

Klaasen looked in ominous touch and was threatening to take the game away from the opposition when Afridi delivered a back of a length ball outside the off and Klaasen failed to clear the deep mid wicket region.

The ball travelled quickly as the fielder there kept his eyes on the ball and took a simple catch to end his innings.

David Miller fights back with stellar fifty

While everyone else failed, David Miller played a counter-attacking knock to take down the Pakistan attack. He was particularly severe on Abrar Ahmed, hammering him for three consecutive sixes to bring up his fifty in just 28 balls.

He was at his imperial best as the Men in Green found it hard to contain him as he utilised the batting conditions to perfection.
