In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between RCB and MI at the Wankhede Stadium, the hosts won the toss and opted to field first. MI got off to a flyer as they got a wicket in the first over, but the party was spoiled at Wankhede as Virat Kohli had other plans. 

Notably, Virat played a brilliant knock as the RCB star scored 67 (42), which featured eight fours and two sixes. He stitched crucial partnerships with Devdutt Padikkal and also Rajat Patidar. Virat was eyeing his first hundred of the season but Hardik Pandya turned things around and sent Kohli packing.

Hardik Pandya Scripts A Rare Feat vs RCB

When Hardik returned for his second over of the night, he trapped Virat and Naman Dhir made no mistake in the field. In the same over, Pandya dismissed Liam Livingstone for a duck and reached a milestone with that wicket.

Notably, with the Englishman's wicket, Hardik completed 200 T20 wickets. Further, Hardik also became the first Indian to score 5000+ runs and take 200 wickets in T20 cricket. Overall, the MI skipper is the 12th cricketer to achieve this feat. 

Talking about the ongoing match, Hardik had a terrible day with the ball overall as he went for 23 runs in his final over and registered a spell of 45/2 after his four overs. Meanwhile, RCB are 192/4 after 17 overs.
