The 9th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will take place between the Gujarat Titans and the Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Interestingly, with the dew coming in later in the game, MI skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Hardik missed MI's first match of the tournament against Chennai Super Kings due to the captain getting a one-game ban for the slow over-rate offence last season. The five-time champions missed his services against CSK, but they have now been boosted with his presence. So, with Hardik back, who has he dropped?.

With Hardik back in the lineup, the skipper of the side decided to drop in Robin Minz from the lineup. The side always had a dilemma between Naman Dhir and Robin Minz and they decided to trust Dhir for the crucial clash against GT.

Minz has plethora of talent, but for this al-important game, MI have gone in with their best XI. Also, there is no Will Jacks in the playing XI, with Ryan Rickelton getting the preference at the top alongside Rohit Sharma.

However, all his not over for Minz as the player is included in the Impact Substitutes and with MI batting second, they will be tempted to bring him into the playing 12 to boost their batting during the chase.
