The upcoming OTT series ‘Battleground’which is set to stream on Amazon MX Player is already making headlines and the show hasn’t even dropped yet. Asim Riaz and Rajat Dalal got into a full-blown physical fight during the launch event and it took former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan to stop it.

Yes, Gabbar himself had to play peacemaker when tempers flared. It all started casually. The cast, which includes Rubina Dilaik, Shikhar Dhawan, Abhishek Malhan, Asim Riaz, and Rajat Dalal, was present for what seemed like a normal media event for the new show. But out of nowhere, things between Asim and Rajat went from zero to hundred real quick.

In the now-viral video, both of them can be seen shouting and suddenly lunging at each other. Chairs were pushed, voices were raised and egos clashed. And right in the middle of it all was actress Rubina Dilaik, who looked absolutely fuming as the chaos unfolded around her.

Just when it looked like the brawl would get completely out of hand, in walked Shikhar Dhawan, calm but firm, trying to defuse the situation. The cricketing star was seen getting in between the two and physically trying to separate them.

We have seen him handle pressure on the field but this was next-level off-field action, and Dhawan dealt with it like an absolute champ. No sledging, no shouting: just silent authority and controlled energy.

While the men were having their outburst, Rubina didn’t even blink twice before getting up and walking away from the scene. Clearly disturbed, she didn’t try to intervene. Instead, she just stayed clear of the drama.
