The Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 season has started off with some high-scoring games, and already several stars have grabbed eyeballs ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) mini auction. So far, 12 matches have been played, and each game has given new stars, who could go on, and become the face od Indian cricket.

Match number 12 of the DPL featured the East Delhi Riders and Outer Delhi Warriors. The match turned out to be a high-scoring contest, and the game certainly allowed young stars to shine. In this piece, we will talk about all the IPL-bound players who participated in DPL match 12, and how they fared.

Stars who performed exceedingly well

Priyansh Arya (PBKS)

Priyansh Arya took the IPL by storm as he played a pivotal role in Punjab Kings' success in the IPL 2025 season. The opening batter was given a chance last season, and he grabbed it with both hands to help his side reach the finale.231/7.

In match number 12 of the DPL, expectations were high from Priyansh, and the youngster didn't disappoint as he showed his class, and on a batting surface, tore apart the East Delhi Riders bowling attack. 

He smacked 111 off 56 balls, laced with 7 fours, and 9 sixes, and helped his team post a mammoth 231/7. His franchise, PBKS will also be proud of his stupendous performance.

Anuj Rawat (GT)

The Gujarat Titans player was nowhere to be seen in IPL 2025, but in the ongoing DPL season, Anuj Rawat has taken the league by storm, as he smacked his third consecutive fifty of the tournament, and leads the run-scoring chart at the moment.

Playing for East Delhi Riders, Rawat came into bat in a tricky situation, and the batter stole the show with a whirlwind knock of. The ongoing series has been a dream run for the southpaw, and GT could be tempted to give him a chance in their playing XI.

IPL stars who failed to deliver the goods

Suyash Sharma

RCB spinner, Suyash Sharma, was having a dream run till his 3rd over, before the East Delhi batters took him apart in his fourth over of the game. Up until the third over, Suyash had only conceded 19 runs and also had a wicket to show. However, his final over went for plenty, as he ended with figures of 1/39 in 4 overs.

Navdeep Saini

Not a current IPL star, but Navdeep has represented several franchises in the IPL. Playing for East Delhi Riders, Navdeep lacked control over his lines and lengths, as Priyansh Arya took him apart with utmost ease.

The pacer lacked variety in his attack, and he ended the game with figures of 1/42 in 4 overs.
