The business end of the ongoing Global T20 2023 kicks off for both Brampton Wolves and Montreal Tigers as they clash in the all-important Eliminator 1 on Saturday. The winner of this encounter will play Qualifier 2, where they will meet the losing side from Qualifier 1.

Brampton Wolves

Brampton Wolves, captained by Tim Southee, finished fourth in the points table and would feel robbed with two matches ending in no results. Colin de Grandhomme and Usman Khan have been top performers with the bat, while Logan van Beek has singlehandedly spearheaded their bowling attack. 

After starting the tournament with wins, they have lost back-to-back matches coming into the encounter. 


Montreal Tigers 

The Montreal Tigers were the third-ranked side in the group stage, managing one more win than the Wolves. The Chris Lynn-captain side comes into the tie with all their batters in form, which include Shane Rutherford, Dipendra Airee, and the skipper himself.

The bowling looks well-rounded, with Carlos Brathwaite leading the charge with eight wickets. Aayan Khan, and Kaleem Sana have also chipped in crucial moments.
