How Indian Bowlers Dominated Day 1?
The day belong to Jasprit Bumrah as he set the tone early, making an immediate impact by claiming the crucial wicket of debutant Nathan McSweeney. He continued his prowess as he dismissed Usman Khawaja followed by crucial wicket of Steve Smith for a golden duck.
Recognizing the urgency for further breakthroughs, debutant Harshit Rana stepped up impressively, claiming the vital wicket of Travis Head.
Mohammed Siraj joined the carnage after a brief stint, and took the wicket and dismissed Mitchell Marsh. By this stage, with half the Australian side back in the dressing room, the hosts were reeling and searching for answers.
As the day's play drew to a close, the Indian bowlers continued to dominate. Siraj soon sent Marnus Labuschagne back to the pavilion. Meanwhile, Bumrah added to the Australians' woes by picking up the wicket of captain Pat Cummins.
