Faf du Plessis is one of the most successful overseas batters in the history of IPL, and is known for his consistency. In the last IPL cycle, he led RCB with great distinction and was one of their leading run-scorers as well. He is playing for DC in IPL 2025 and is expected to do the same, but so far injuries have not helped his cause.

It is his second-slowest knock when he has faced over 25 balls in IPL, with the first one being against MI when he played for CSK in IPL 2014. He scored 20 off 25 balls in that match.
His third-slowest knock came against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022 when he played for RCB, and it was a 25-run knock from 27 balls. The fourth in the list is his knock against DC in IPL 2019 for the Yellove Army where he scored 39 runs from 41 balls. In the same season, he had a knock of 43 from 45 against KKR.
