Shadab Khan was out of favour and was out of the Pakistan team for a while, but suddenly, he received a call-up for the T20Is Vs New Zealand and it raised quite a few eyebrows as the all-rounder hasn't done anything significant since his comeback in the squad. The all-rounder has been a weak link and it was evident in the 4th T20I.

Pakistan bowled first and they instantly regretted the decision as the Kiwi openers, Tim Seifert and Finn Allen added more than 50 runs in the powerplay and gave a rocking start to their team. While the likes of Haris Rauf delivered the goods and scalped 3 wickets, Shadab released all the pressure as he conceded 49 runs in 4 overs. 

Here are two key reasons as to why Shadab has become a weak link and should be dropped from the side.

No contribution with the bat

Just 30 runs in 4 matches, with no major contribution from Shadab Khan in the ongoing T20I series. He has not delivered the goods and on Sunday, when Pakistan needed him the most with the bat, he failed to score as the all-rounder could only muster 1 off 4 balls.
