Rishabh Pant is one of the finest young batters in world cricket currently, and has emerged as a match-winner in Test cricket. However, his T20 numbers have been questionable, and after becoming the most expensive player in the history of the IPL, he has not been able to live upto the billing.
Rishabh Pant Demotes Himself Against KKR
In the five matches, he has just 17 runs in his kitty and did not walk out to bat at his usual number four position against KKR when his team needed his powerful finishing touches. Instead, Abdul Samad was promoted and it has not gone well with the fans, with many trolling him and LSG owner Goenka for giving him 27 Crore.

LSG Top Order Demolish KKR Bowling Attack
Despite Rishabh Pant not coming out to bat, LSG did brilliantly and smashed 238 in the first half against helpless KKR bowling attack. The top three fires again with Nicholas Pooran smashing 87 while Mitchell Marsh and Markram hit 81 and 47 respectively. They would now be hoping that their bowlers keep KKR batters quiet and notch up their third win of the season.
