CSK To Be Welcomed With Delhi's Hot & Humid Weather at Arun Jaitley Stadium

Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will meet in Match 67 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The hosts were the first team to be disqualified from the playoffs race, and now can they spoil CSK’s party too. For CSK to make the playoffs, this a must-win game, and if they lose, they will have to hope that the results of other teams go their way.

This is the last match of the season for Delhi Capitals, who started the season with five straight losses but have looked a strong team in their last few matches. This is also the last game of this IPL at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the national capital.

It will be very hot and humid during the game which starts at 3.30 PM IST.  The temperature will be close to 40 degrees Celsius. There is no forecast for rain, so we are likely in for a full 40-over match.

If CSK beat Capitals, they will reach the playoffs for a record 12th time in the IPL. No other team has made the playoffs as many times. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians have played the playoffs nine times.

In all likelihood, this is the last IPL season for MS Dhoni. CSK will be hoping to advance to the playoffs, and then win the final, as a befitting tribute to one of IPL’s greatest wicketkeeper-batters and captain.
