The 24th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 will see Sylhet Strikers going head-to-head against Durdanto Dhaka on Wednesday, February 7 at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Mirpur.

Sylhet Strikers' tournament campaign has been disappointing, with just one win out of seven matches played. They are currently occupying the second-to-last spot in the points table.

Coming off a brutal 77-run defeat against the Rangpur Riders, where the Mosaddek Hossain-led side crumbled for just 85 runs, they're entering this match with their backs against the wall, but still determined to save face. 

Durdanto Dhaka 

On the other hand, Durdanto Dhaka hasn't fared any better, with only one win out of six matches played in the tournament, leaving them languishing at the bottom of the league standings.  

Across all six matches played thus far in the tournament, a recurring theme has been their batting unit failing to fire on all cylinders, failing to present any serious challenges to their opponents.
