Match 10 of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 will witness lower placed teams in Comilla Victorians clash with tomorrow at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Comilla Victorians will be back in action after a two-day break and will look to keep their winning momentum going. After suffering an opening tournament loss, Victorians earned a tough win against Fortune Barishal, which witnessed bowlers like Mustafizur Rahman and Roston Chase stand up, claiming five wickets between themselves.

With the bat, Imrul Kayes led the chase, slamming a match-winning 52, following which Victorians gained a win on the penultimate ball of the match. The likes of skipper Litton Das, and Towhid Hridoy will need to regain form quickly, as Pakistan recruits Mohammad Rizwan and Khushdil Shah also make their way into the league. 

Tanvir Islam and West Indies Matthew Forde will want to step up the plate with Rahman already hitting form from the second match.

Sylhet Strikers

Still winless in BPL 2024, Sylhet Strikers will need to find inspiration and make a quick comeback before the tournament goes out of grasp. The form of captain Mashrafe Mortaza is a major cause of concern for the Strikers, who have been debating about the participation of the former Bangladesh skipper in the XI.

The batting looks a bit thin, with only Najmul Hossain Shanto and Zakir Hasan looking in somewhat form, while others like Mohammad Mithun and Yasir Ali have failed to impress thus far. The Sylhet heavily depend on their three overseas all-rounders Dushan Hemanth, Ben Cutting and Benny Howell, who have exhibited their skills in part but need to dish out substantial roles. 

Richard Ngarava, who had a stellar season for Zimbabwe, is the spearhead of the attack, which has inexperience in the form of Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Nazmul Islam.
