The 15th match of BPL 2024-25 was an electric affair between Durbar Rajshahi and Khulna Tigers that saw the latter book their first loss of the tournament in their third game at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. As the Tigers opted to bowl first, their decision backfired as they were bundled out while chasing a strong total set by Rajshahi.

With that being said, let's check out how the match between Tigers and Rajshahi at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium:

Coming in to bat first, the Durbar Rajshahi didn't have a solid start. Mohammad Haris was the first one to get dismissed by Nasum Ahmed in the 6th over which gave a hard blow to the team. Anamul Haque, the skipper, followed in the 8th over with Jishan Alam also tumbling in the 10th over, leaving Rajshahi reeling at 67-4 at the end of 9.5 overs.

While Ahmed was key in Rajshahi's early fall, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mohammad Nawaz also chipped in with one wicket each to topple crucial top orders, adding to the misery of the Anamul Haque-led side.

However, after Jishan Alam's departure, Ryan Burl and Yasir Ali paired up a formidable 88-run partnership off 51 balls to steer the ship for the team. They anchored Rajshahi to put up a challenging total of 178 on the board.

While Yasir Ali made 41 runs off 25 balls, Ryan Burl contributed with his unbeatable 48 off 29 to salvage the game for his team along with Akbar Ali who played a late cameo with his 21 runs off 9 balls.

DBR vs KHT Highlights: Tigers Fail To Keep Up With Rajshahi's Bowling Attack

Coming in to bat for the chase, the Tigers faltered from the very beginning. William Bosisto was sent off in the very first over with the skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz following in the fourth over as he was dismissed by Tasking Ahmed. 

Mohammad Naim, Afif Hossain and Mahidul Islam Ankon showed some resistance with their small partnerships but Rajshahi bowlers, especially Ryan Burl (2-13) and Sohag Gazi (2-27) were too much for the Tigers to reply.

With 35 runs needed in the final over, Taskin Ahmed (2-30) picked the ball to defend the target successfully and bundled the Tigers handing Rajshahi their second win of the tournament by 28 runs.
