Sayali Ganesh Satghare, the 24-year-old all-rounder from Mumbai, is making her ODI debut for India against Ireland on January 10, 2025. Known for her right-arm medium-fast bowling and dependable batting skills, Satghare has earned her place to don the Indian Women’s ODI cap.

Born on July 2, 2000, Satghare has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket since 2015, representing Mumbai. However, her journey took a significant turn in 2024 when she was picked up by the Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). 

After being benched for most of Gujarat's matches, Satghare was only called as a concussion substitute for D Hemalatha in a match against Delhi Capitals. While she couldn't show her full potential with the bat in that match, Gujarat showed faith in her and retained her for INR 10 lakh in the WPL 2025 auction.

Satghare's Promising Domestic Career

In her domestic career, Satghare has played 51 Women’s List A matches, amassing 666 runs at an average of 20.81. Her career highlight with the bat came when she scored an unbeaten 100 against Arunachal Pradesh  in 2023–24 Senior Women's One Day Trophy, showcasing her capability to anchor innings under pressure. 

With the ball, she has been equally impactful, taking 56 wickets at an impressive average of 20.60, including a memorable 7/5 spell in Women's List A cricket that highlights her knack for delivering in critical moments.

Satghare's T20 credentials are equally strong, with 37 wickets in 49 matches at an average of 19.05, and a best performance of 5/13. Known for her accuracy and ability to adapt to varying conditions, Satghare’s bowling has been a game-changer in many matches.
