Blind T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals to be streamed LIVE on DD Sports

The semi-finals of the third edition of the T20 World Cup 2022 For The Blind has finally got a national broadcaster. 

DD Sports is confirmed to be broadcasting the India vs South Africa semi-final match on Thursday (December 15) from 9:00 AM, to be held at Samprasiddhi Sports Estadio, Bengaluru. 

Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the host, India participated in the tournament. The tournament comprises of a total of 24 matches taking place in different cities. 

The Blind Cricket Tournament was organised to mark the World Disability Day celebrations. Former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh is the brand ambassador of the showpiece event. 

India secured four victories in five appearances in the league stage. Other three teams qualifying for the semi-finals are Bangladesh, South Africa and Sri Lanka. 

 Prakash Jayaramaiah is the top-scorer with 154 runs in three outings, while Sunil Ramesh has bagged the most wickets (5) for the Men in Blue. 

After the India-South Africa game, Bangladesh will lock horns with Sri Lanka from 1:00 PM at the same venue. 

Interestingly, India is the only country to clinch the international championships across all the formats. They won the T20 World Cup in December 2012, the ODI World Cup in December 2014 and the T20 Asia Cup in January 2016.
