On Thursday, Bangladesh and Ireland will lock horns with each other in the final of the three-match ODI series. Bangladesh, leading by 1-0, will aim at clinching the series, while the visitors will focus on restoring parity. 


Team Preview: Bangladesh

After whitewashing England in the recently concluded T20I series, Bangladesh had a superb start to the Ireland ODIs, securing a clinical 183-run victory over the visitors in the first game. The Tigers continued their home dominance, posting a gigantic 349-run total in the subsequent abandoned fixture. 

While the ever-reliable Shakib Al Hasan has showcased his all-round prowess, the likes of Towhid Hridoy and Najmul Hossain Shanto have starred with the bat. 

However, the biggest positive for the hosts has been Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored a scintillating 60-ball 100* in the last game.
