After witnessing the highs in the last T20I game against Zimbabwe, Pakistan’s star batter, Babar Azam, was brought down to Earth by the Sri Lankan side as he registered his 10th duck in this format, and was sent back for a 2-ball duck. Dushmantha Chameera became his nemesis as the Sri Lankan pacer trapped him lbw to send shockwaves in Pakistan camp.
Babar equalled Saim Ayub as both the batters have the most ducks for Pakistan in T20Is (10). He has 4 scores of duck in his last nine T20I innings as the batter fails to get consistency in his batting. Interestingly, Ayub and Babar are also joined by Umar Akmal, who, too, had 10 ducks in this format.
It was a typical Babar Azam dismissal as Chameera nipped a good length ball back in and trapped Babar lbw as the Pakistan batter had no answer and was sent back in disappointment.

Other unwanted record created by Babar
Apart from joining Saim Ayub in the unwanted feat, Babar’s name will also be published in another unfortunate list as the batter has the most ducks in home T20I matches.

He is just short of equalling Chameera, the one who dismissed him in the final T20I before the grand finale.
Babar already in firing line
Despite scoring a couple of fifties in recent matches, Babar Azam is in the firing line as the selectors are keeping a close tab on his performances. He was dropped from the Asia Cup squad due to the strike rate issue, and despite registering a couple of fifties in recent games, the strike-rate problem continues to persist.
Plus, having four ducks in last nine innings doesn’t help his cause as the selectors want a consistent player to bat at number 3, and Babar is not providing that at the moment.
