Who Is Ayush Mhatre?

Ayush Mhatre is a promising 17-year-old cricketer who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket. He made his first-class debut in the 2024-25 Irani Cup and has been performing steadily since then. In just nine matches, he has scored 504 runs at an average of 31.50, which includes two centuries.

At the 2025 IPL mega auction, Mhatre went unsold despite having a base price of ₹30 lakh. However, CSK had earlier invited him for trials along with a few other domestic players.
