Smriti Mandhana played a classic mix of grace and aggression, dominating the Lankan bowlers with her effortless timing. Her innings featured 15 fours and 2 sixes, one of which brought her to the top of India’s all-time six-hitters list.
Opening the innings with Pratika Rawal, Mandhana added 70 runs for the first wicket, then stitched a match-defining 120-run partnership with Harleen Deol for the second. Her knock laid the foundation for a mammoth total as India rode on the momentum to finish at 342/7 in 50 overs.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur then provided fireworks in the middle overs with a 30-ball 41, including a six that took her tally to 53, just behind Mandhana. Jemimah Rodrigues added a quickfire 44 off 29, striking at over 150.
Richa Ghosh also joined the six-hitters chart with a maximum during her short stay. India’s lower-order, led by Amanjot Kaur and Deepti Sharma, finished the innings strongly.
