On Sunday, October 12, Pakistan will kick off their new WTC campaign after the Shan Masood-led side takes on defending champions South Africa. Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the first match, and eyes will be on Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who return to Pakistan cricket after a long time.

Ahead of the first Test, videos of Pakistan and South Africa training together in Lahore have gone viral. Meanwhile, Babar, too, has been in the news, as a few clips of his batting session have gone viral, and the fans can't keep calm.

Babar and Agha's bromance brewing in Lahore

In the latest events, the bromance between Babar and Salman Ali Agha has taken centre stage as Agha was captured referring to Azam as the king in the practice session ahead of 1st Test.

In the now viral clip, Agha was in stretching his body in the training session, calling for Babar, who was standing at a distance and having a chat with a player who looked like Mohammad Rizwan. Agha then conversed in Punjabi with Babar and asked him 'Aye Kitni der (How much more time)'. Further, he also called him a king.

Babar and his King moniker

Babar Azam has often been compared with Virat Kohli in his entire career. The Pakistani fans believe Babar to be Virat's equivalent in the neighbouring country. Since Virat is called as the 'King of cricket' and 'King Kohli' in India, the Pakistan fans have also started calling Babar as the king to draw parallels with Virat Kohli.

Not just the fans, but Pakistan players too refer to Babar as King. Salman Agha is not the first player to have called Babar as 'King', as Mohammad Rizwan too have referred to Babar as the king on the cricket field.
