On Saturday, October 11, India and West Indies locked horns on day 2 of the 2nd Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The hosts lost a wicket early on in the day as Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the pavillion without a double hundred.

The southpaw was the centre of a terrible mix-up with Shubman Gill and eventually missed out on a key milestone. The India skipper was at fault, but the incident didn't affect Gill's game, and the right-handed batter completed another fifty.
