India defeated Australia in the 4th T20I at the Carrara Oval in Queensland on November 6. The Indian bowlers dominated the match by bowling out Australia on just 119 runs: one of their lowest totals in the shortest format.

The visitors beat the Kangaroos by 48 runs to take an unassailable 2-1 lead in the five-match series. The last match of the series will be played on November 8 in Brisbane, and the Men in Blue will look to win the match and avenge their ODI series loss.

On the other hand, the Australian team would want to overcome the unwanted record they have created in the 4th T20I by getting bowled out on just 119 runs.

Here are the four lowest totals by Australia at home:

111 vs New Zealand, Sydney 2022

Australia were dismissed for just 111 in Sydney during the 2022 T20 World Cup. It stood as their lowest completed T20I total at home. The collapse was a shock for the home crowd, given how strong Australia’s white-ball batting traditionally is at home.

119 vs India, Carraa Oval 2025

In November 2025 at Carrara Oval, the Aussies were bowled out for 119 while chasing a modest score. This marked their second-lowest home T20I total. The batting line-up looked in control early on, but a dramatic middle & tail collapse turned the match.

127 vs Pakistan, Melbourne 2010

Back in February 2010 at the MCG, Australia managed only 127 before bowling Pakistan down to win by 2 runs. Though they eked out a win, the total is one of their worst home T20I batting displays. It showed that even home conditions can be challenging in the shortest format when wickets fall regularly.

131 vs India, Melbourne 2011

In February 2012 (the series was 2011-12), Melbourne, Australia, posted 131 batting first. India chased it down comfortably, handing Australia yet another sub-par home T20I total. It reinforced that Australia’s batting has occasionally faltered even on familiar turf in T20Is.
