There have been many names in the cricket universe who have made their names big by magnificent performances. However, whenever we think of cricket stars, we often imagine them playing only cricket, but some cricketers have broken the mold and have shown their talents in other fields as well.

And not just that, there are also some cricketers who have not just played other sports but have also represented their nations in those sports as well. Playing multiple sports could be a common thing, but mastering those sports is very rare.

However, there was a reason behind that athleticism. Jonty was very fond of playing Hockey and even represented South Africa’s football team, which couldn’t qualify for the Olympic Games 1992.

Sir Vivian Richards
