Rule of the WPL Auction

As per the league’s rules, the five franchises can only buy a maximum of 90 players, with 30 overseas among them. 

The auction purse with each franchise is INR 12 crore, and each team have to buy at least 15 players (at max 18 players). Each team will have a purse of 12 crores.

The players will be divided in three groups who will have 50, 40, and 20 lakhs as the base price.
