It was a classic thriller, a high-profile game here at the Ekan Stadium in Lucknow, where Chennai Super Kings won by five wickets in a nervy thriller.
Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants put 166 on the board for the loss of seven wickets, with Rishabh Pant getting back to form with his 63 coming off 49 deliveries while he smashed four sixes. The CSK bowlers were magnificent, especially Noor Ahmed, who gave 13 runs in his four overs, however, taking a wicket, while Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana took two wickets apiece.
