Watch: Fan Has Hilarious Moment as He Finds Lost Ball Out From Side Screen
Fan found a ball after Gill smashed a maximum (Twitter)
In the fag-end of play on Day 2 of the fourth Test match between India and Australia, Shubman Gill smoked a maximum off Nathan Lyon, which allowed a fan to seal the moment and become a viral hit on social media while finding the ball in his hilarious manner.
A shot from Gill over the long-on fence lost the ball somewhere in the white cloth of the side screen. The umpires first asked the local groundsmen to search for the ball before they decided to change it, as the groundsmen failed in their attempt.
However, a fan - who came as a spectator - came and sealed the moment by searching for the ball from behind the side screen cloth. The Ahmedabad crowd and some players from the dugout appreciated the fan's efforts, as he went viral on social media.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also couldn't keep it to themselves and posted the video on their website, captioning it - "WATCH: The mystery of the lost ball".
Meanwhile, despite Rohit Sharma and Gill's pleasing batting show in the last 10 overs of the day, India are still trailing behind by 444 runs after Australia piled up a mammoth mountain of 480 runs in their first innings.
Usman Khawaja (180), Cameron Green (114) and Todd Murphy (41) have been the show-stealers for the visitors so far in the fourth and final Test match of the series. Steve Smith's Australia are currently sitting on the box seat, while the Indian batters would have to show their prowess with the bat to remain in the game.
India will begin the proceeding at a score of 36 for no loss on Day 3, with skipper Rohit and Gill being the unbeaten batters at 17* and 18*, respectively.
