As of late, things have not gone according to the plans for the security personnels at the Chepauk Stadium. During the India vs Australia third ODI at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium, a stray dog entered the playing field and the game was halted for several minutes.
A similar incident occurred at the start of IPL game between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants on Monday. With CSK batting first, the fans were eager to witness their heroes come out to bat in front of them.
But just like the ODI match, there was a disruption in play when a stray dog came onto the field and it took several people to take him out of the playing area. The ground-staff had to work hard to take him away as the start of the play was delayed for another bizarre reason.
KL Rahul won the toss and elected to field first. CSK have started off on an aggressive note and as of writing, they have notched up 81 runs inside 7 overs. But most importantly, they have not lost a single wicket.
