Virat Kohli to surpass Suresh Raina as India's second-highest T20I run-scorer against South Africa

Currently, Suresh Raina occupies second place in the list with 339 runs behind Rohit Sharma, who is at the top with 362 runs. 

So, Virat Kohli, with 254  runs to his name, needs 85 more runs to overtake Raina in this aspect. Considering Kohli's red hot form, we think it's pretty much possible for him to attain this feat. 

David Miller to become South Africa's top-scorer in T20Is

Swashbuckling finisher David Miller holds second place in the list of highest run-scorers for South Africa in T20Is. 

Notably, Miller has 1903 T20 runs for South Africa (his other 41 runs have come for World XI), trailing by only 31 runs to JP Duminy (1934 runs), who tops the chart. Looking at Miller's form in the T20Is this year, we expect the veteran batter to attain this milestone by the end of the series.

Currently, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the joint-highest T20I wicket-takers for India with 85 wickets. As Bhuvneshwar won't play in South Africa T20Is, Chahal will get a golden opportunity to be the undisputed topper in the list. He has to pick only one more wicket, which we believe he will do in the very first game. 

Kagiso Rabada to record the most number of T20I wickets as a South African against India

Junior Dala is South Africa's most successful T20I bowler against India, with seven wickets from three matches. Meanwhile, experienced pacer Kagiso Rabada has picked six wickets against the Men in Blue; therefore, he needs only two more wickets to overtake Dala's tally. 

Suryakumar Yadav to score 1000 T20I runs

Since debuting against England last year, Suryakumar Yadav has established himself as a vital cog of India's T20I side. In 29 innings, India's Mr 360 has amassed 926 runs at an impressive average of 37.04 and a blistering strike rate of 174.71. So, if he scores 74 more runs, he will breach the 1000-run mark in T20I cricket. And if he does it, he will be the ninth Indian to attain this landmark. 

Lungi Ngidi will be the sixth South African to 50 T20I wickets

Proteas spearhead Lungi Ngidi has scalped 49 wickets in 30 T20I innings. So, if he gets one more wicket, he will be the sixth South African bowler to achieve the feat. More importantly, the tall seamer will be the fastest South African pacer to attain this milestone. 

Dinesh Karthik could be India's most successful keeper-batter against South Africa in T20Is

Currently, Ishan Kishan is India's most successful keeper-batter against South Africa in T20Is, with 206 runs in five innings. Therefore, Dinesh Karthik, who has 152 runs to his name, needs 55 more runs to edge past Ishan in this aspect. And importantly, if Karthik manages to do this, he will also surpass MS Dhoni's tally of 204 runs in T20Is against the rainbow nation.
