AUS vs BAN, 43rd Match - Toss Factor

Teams batting first and second have managed to win two games each out of the four played so far at the venue in this World Cup. The captain winning the toss might look to field first and have a target in front of him.

Scenario: If Australia Fields First

Adam Zampa is the leading wicket-taker for Australia so far in this WC. The spinner has snared 20 scalps at an average of 19.20 and an economy rate of 5.56. He will again be the main bowler in the middle order as the Aussies look to restrict Bangladesh to a low total. Top three players David Warner, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh will be crucial in a big run-chase.

Scenario: If Bangladesh Fields First

Spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz has picked up the joint-most wickets (ten) for the Bangla Tigers so far. In the absence of regular skipper Shakib Al Hasan, Miraz will hold the key in containing the run-flow against the  Kangaroos. Opener Litton Das and veteran Mushfiqur Rahim will be key players if their side are up against a stiff target.

AUS vs BAN, 43rd Match - Top Captain and Vice-captain choices

Scenario: If Bangladesh Fields First

Litton Das (BAN)

Opening batter Litton Das has struck the second-most runs for Bangladesh in this campaign. The right-hander has 248 runs to his name at an average of 31.00 which includes two half-centuries. The 29-year old would hope to end the campaign on a high by getting a significant score for his country in a big run-chase.

Mushfiqur Rahim (BAN)

Experienced campaigner Mushfiqur Rahim has also managed to smash two half-centuries in this dismal Bangladesh campaign. The right-handed wicketkeeper batter will play an important role while chasing against top-quality Australian bowling line-up.

Scenario: If Australia Fields First

David Warner (AUS)

Destructive left-handed opener David Warner is leading the batting charts for his side in this campaign. The southpaw has slammed 446 runs at an average of 56 which includes two centuries and one half-century. Approaching 500 runs, Warner would be looking to provide another quick and aggressive start to his side while chasing a big target.

Mitchell Marsh (AUS)

Tall right-hander Mitchell Marsh has hit 249 runs in seven innings at an average of 36. The no. three player has managed to struck one hundred and one fifty so far in this WC. Like Warner and Travis Head, Marsh also plays aggressively as he is a perfect pick for this category against the Bangla Tigers.

AUS vs BAN, 43rd Match - Big Risk, Big Return Choices

Travis Head (AUS)

Opener Travis Head smacked 109 off just 67 against New Zealand in Dharamsala where he played his first game of the tournament. The left-handed batter has then managed to rack up scores of 11 against England and a duck against Afghanistan. Considering his aggressive style of play, Head is a risky but definitely a worthy choice for this fixture.

Najmul Hossain Shanto (BAN)

Najmul Hossain Shanto will don the captaincy hat as Shakib Al Hasan is ruled out of the final match. The no. three left-handed player has 177 runs under his belt in eight innings at an average of 25.28 with two fifties. He played a valuable knock of 90 against Sri Lanka last time out and will look to end the WC with some more runs to his name.
