A diehard Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fan flaunted a franchise jersey at the recently held Coldplay concert in Mumbai. As the song ‘Yellow’ was played in the background, the fan raised the jersey and chanted the lyrics.

MS Dhoni and CSK have a separate fan base across the country. The former legendary captain led the franchise to five titles and his aura has made him a household name in Chennai. 

Owing to the fans' love, Dhoni committed to the IPL 2025 season for a nominal salary of INR 2 crore. He was retained in the uncapped category as he last played an international game five years ago.

Fan pays tribute to MS Dhoni at Coldplay concert 

Meanwhile, a diehard MS Dhoni fan paid tribute to his idol during a concert held in Mumbai. The Coldplay band, led by singer Chris Martin, toured Mumbai for a special concert. During the event, Martin sang the famous song ‘Yellow,’ leaving the fans mesmerised. 

As soon as the song began playing, a fan in the crowd pulled out a CSK jersey embedded with Dhoni’s name and jersey number 7. He flaunted the jersey in the air and chanted the chorus to pay tribute to the former captain.

The heartwarming video has been going viral on social media platforms. The Coldplay concert saw the attendance of thousands of people. However, passionate cricket fans added a special touch to the concert, thus making it a memorable moment.

MS Dhoni gears up for IPL 2025 with special training session

At 43, MS Dhoni refuses to give up on his passion. He retired from international cricket four years ago, but his love for CSK isn’t lost. Ahead of the IPL 2025 season, he was retained in the uncapped category for a nominal price of INR 2 crore. 

Meanwhile, with the tournament scheduled to kick off in the last week of March, Dhoni turned up for a special practice session with CSK. The pictures of the batting session have gone viral and fans are looking forward to the legend on the field.
