India’s ODI outing on the Australian soil started with turmoil, and the series has already slipped away from Team India’s grasp. Before the Men in Blue boarded for Sydney for the upcoming ODI match, some of the Indian stars were seen in a different role.
As the Indian side was in Adelaide for the second ODI clash, three Indian players were seen taking an Uber ride. The video quickly went viral, capturing the driver’s stunned reaction at his unexpected passengers.

After wrapping up the Test series against West Indies, Team India reached Australia for a three-match ODI series, but that started on a forgettable note. After a defeat in Perth, Team India faced another horrific defeat in Adelaide, and Australia took the lead of the series by a 2-0 margin. Even though India is struggling in the series, three Indian stars made a cab driver’s day.
As the Men in Blue were in Adelaide for a few days for the game, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, and Prasidh Krishna were seen enjoying a cab ride. A video of the moment went viral, capturing the cab driver’s stunned reaction when his passengers turned out to be the three Indian stars.
The video was recorded through the dashcam, where the driver was initially shocked seeing his passengers Prasidh Krishna took the front seat while Jaiswal and Jurel settled in the back, and though the driver tried to stay composed, his expression said it all. The charming clip has won fans’ hearts.
Sydney set to test India’s mettle
After taking the ODI captaincy reins from Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill made his ODI captaincy debut in the ongoing series against Australia, but that turned out to be a nightmare. After a horrific defeat in Perth, Team India’s struggle continued into the second Test in Adelaide.
Early wickets shook the Men in Blue, but crucial knocks from Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, and Axar Patel steadied the ship, helping India post a total of 264. While bowling in the second innings, Team India’s bowling crumbled in front of Australia’s dominant move. With Matthew Short and Cooper Cannolly’s brilliance, Australia chased down the total easily, and India faced a narrow 8-wicket defeat.
With the last defeat, Australia registered the series under their name. Now, as the Men in Blue gear up for the clash at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground, India will be desperate to finish the series on a high with at least one victory.
