Indian cricketer KL Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty continue to give major couple goals. On Wednesday, Rahul took to social media to wish his wife and “best friend” Athiya Shetty, a very happy 33rd birthday.

For those who may not know, Rahul and Athiya began dating in 2019, and after a few years of keeping their relationship private, they tied the knot on January 23, 2023.

It was an intimate ceremony at Athiya’s father, Suniel Shetty’s, farmhouse in Khandala.

On November 5, 2025, KL Rahul shared a series of sweet photos with wife Athiya Shetty, one showing the two sharing a warm hug, another a cute mirror selfie from a shopping trip, and a candid moment of Athiya flashing a peace sign while Rahul stood beside her. 

Along with the pictures, the Indian star batter penned a heartwarming caption wishing her a happy birthday that read:

“Happy birthday to my best friend, wifey, lover, stress ball, goofball ❤️❤️ I love you more each passing year 🤗❤️ @athiyashetty.”

Fans flooded the comments with love for the couple, calling them one of the most real and beautiful pairs in Indian cricket and Bollywood. 

Earlier this year, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Evaarah, on March 24, 2025. 

Since becoming parents, both Athiya and Rahul have kept their personal lives low-key, but fans often get glimpses of their happy moments through social media posts. 

Who is Athiya Shetty?

Athiya Shetty is an Indian actress and model. Born on November 5, 1992, she is the daughter of veteran actor Suniel Shetty and designer Mana Shetty. Athiya made her acting debut in “Hero” in 2015, for which she received a Filmfare nomination for Best Female Debut. 

She later appeared in films like “Mubarakan” and “Motichoor Chaknachoor.” Later, she got married to cricketer KL Rahul, and since becoming another, Athiya has stepped away from the world of glamour.
