Why MS Dhoni Missed LGM's Screening? Wife Sakshi Dhoni Reponds With Dry Humour

During a screening of the film "Let's Get Married" (LGM), which is produced by Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of MS Dhoni, shared an update about her legendary cricketer husband. 

Although Dhoni was not present at the screening, fans showered love and concern for him, prompting questions about his well-being.

In a viral video on social media, a fan was heard asking, "Mahi bhai kaise hain?" (How is Mahi brother?). 

Responding to the queries, Sakshi gave a thumbs up and informed the audience that he is currently in rehab and recovering after undergoing knee surgery right after the conclusion of IPL 2023.

“Mahi bhai is recovering, he is in rehab,”  Sakshi Dhoni was heard saying in the event.

Earlier this month, Sakshi visited Chennai to attend the pre-release event of LGM and addressed fans during the event. 

Throughout the 2023 season, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) displayed tremendous grit and dedication, with Dhoni leading the team despite his knee injury. 

His hard work and struggles paid off as he led CSK to an IPL glory for the record-equalling 5th time in the cash-rich league. 

The 2023 season had led to speculation among experts and fans that it might be the last ride for India's greatest ever wicket-keeper batter. Dhoni finally broke his silence on his retirement during the post-match presentation after Chennai beat Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Final in Ahmedabad, stating that he is yet to decide on his future plans.

Just three days after leading CSK to glory in Ahmedabad, Dhoni underwent a successful knee surgery to address the persistent knee issue that troubled him throughout the 2023 IPL season. 

As a result, Dhoni has already begun his rehabilitation program, working towards recovery and possibly returning to the cricket field in the future. Fans and cricket enthusiasts eagerly await further updates on his road to recovery.
