Mohammad Amir is one of the most talented pacers to emerge from Pakistan, but unfortunately, the promise could not be fulfilled at the international level. There are various reasons for it, but one of the main reasons was his involvement in the spot-fixing scandal during a Test match against England in 2010.

Along with Amir, fellow pacer Mohammad Asif and captain Salman Butt were also included in the mischievous act and those two could not play for Pakistan after being proven guilty. Amir was sentenced to six-month jail but was released after serving half of his term. He was just a teenager then and amidst the calamity, the left-arm pacer met Narjis Khatun, his lawyer who associated with Amir's spot fixing scandal according to the Jang Newspaper as reported by India.com.

Mohammad Amir Got Married In 2016

The couple fell in love and got married eventually in 2016, the year when he started playing for Pakistan regularly again after his ban. His wife Narjis was born in United Kingdom and apart from being a lawyer, she also worked in popular TV shows like 'Barson Baad' and 'Mil Ke Bhi Hum Na Mil Sakey.'

The couple now has three children named - Minsa Amir, Zoya Amir and Ayra Amir. The first one was born in 2017 and the couple are currently in a healthy marriage with Mohammad Amir retiring from international cricket.

He last played for Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup, but has been in a constant tussle with PCB, and is now enjoying his cricket in franchise leagues around the world.
