[Watch] When Shubman Gill Asked Actress Sonam Bajwa About Dating Life With KL Rahul

Shubman Gill once subtly asked KL Rahul’s ex-girlfriend, Indian actress Sonam Bajwa, for a date. The incident occurred when the two met with each other back in 2022 in Zee TV’s hit web series, Dil Diyan Gallan.

Bajwa, who had briefly been with Rahul, was teased by Gill over the prospect of dating him instead.

KL Rahul was once linked to Punjab-based actress Sonam Bajwa. However, the dashing cricketer has since been together with Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty. The two even married each other each earlier this year in a private ceremony.

Back in 2022, Rahul’s national teammate Shubman Gill interacted with Bajwa on a Zee TV web series, Dil Diyan Gallan. An excerpt from their interaction soon went viral across social media, where the Indian batter was seen asking her if she had ever been in a date with a cricketer in her life, thus subtly showing keen interest in her.

Bajwa straight-up responded “no” to his question and the two laughed over the matter.

In the meantime, both Gill and Rahul are bracing themselves for India’s upcoming Asia Cup 2023 clash against Pakistan. The match marks India’s opening fixture of the Super Four round of the competition, following their emphatic 10-wicket win over Nepal in the Group A stage.

The ongoing tournament also marks KL Rahul’s return to competitive cricket after a gap of nearly five months. He slumped to a thigh injury back in IPL 2023 season, and had to spent his subsequent seasons at the NCA in a bid to attain full recovery alongside fellow injured men Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer.
